A local marketplace, not a national broker.
Container Connect is an independent company based in Los Angeles County. We don't own trucks and we don't haul debris. Every container listed here belongs to a local, independently owned hauling company we vetted and onboarded ourselves, the kind of operator that has been working these neighborhoods for years and gets most of its work by word of mouth.
When you book, you are hiring that company directly. Our job is to make them easy to find, easy to compare, and easy to say yes to. The price you see is the hauler's own price with no broker markup added on top, and you can check the size, the weight allowance, and the rental window before you hand over a phone number.
We would rather grow slowly with operators we trust than list every company in the county. If something on the site is unclear, or a booking doesn't go the way it should, a message to support reaches a real person on our team, usually the same day.
How our no-markup pricing works.
"No markup" is an easy thing to claim and a hard thing to prove, so here is the whole mechanism, in order. If any of it ever stops being true, this section changes.
The hauler sets the price. We don't.
Every operator loads their own rates: their yardage, their tonnage allowance, their rental window, their delivery area. We don't negotiate it down and we don't mark it up. What you see on a listing is the number that company charges its own customers when you call them directly.
You see it before you give up a phone number.
Size, weight allowance, rental period and the price are on the page. There is no 'call for pricing' gate, because a quote you have to phone for is how the markup gets hidden in the first place.
You book the hauler, not us.
After the match you are the hauler's customer. You pay them, you talk to them about the delivery window, and if you need an extra day you arrange it with them. We do not sit in the middle of the transaction.
We get paid by the hauler, only after the job is done.
It costs an operator nothing to list: $0 to join, $0 per lead, $0 monthly. We take a 10% commission on completed jobs only, and 5% for founding partners, locked for 24 months. If the job doesn't happen, we don't get paid.
Nobody can buy a better spot.
Ranking on the browse page is driven by rating and relevance to your search. There is no paid placement tier and no way to bid your way to the top, because the moment there is, the ordering stops being useful to you.
The standard model in this category is a lead aggregator: the platform charges haulers roughly $20 to $60 for every lead whether it closes or not, and often marks the customer price up 15 to 30% on top. The hauler has to price that in, so the customer pays for it twice, and the same form gets sold to several companies at once, which is why one request turns into five phone calls. We charge nothing per lead, add nothing to your price, and send your request to the hauler you picked.
