By accessing, browsing, or using ContainerConnect (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, customers requesting quotes, and hauler partners listing on the platform.
ContainerConnect is an online marketplace that connects customers seeking dumpster rentals with independent local hauler companies. ContainerConnect does not own, operate, lease, or directly provide any dumpster, truck, or waste-hauling service. We do not employ the haulers listed on the platform. Each hauler is an independent business, solely responsible for its own pricing, scheduling, delivery, pickup, insurance, licensing, and the quality of the services it provides.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to request quotes, list a company, or otherwise use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that any information you provide is accurate and not misleading.
When you submit a quote request, ContainerConnect routes the request to one or more hauler partners in your area. Any quote, booking, contract, or transaction you enter into with a hauler is strictly between you and that hauler. ContainerConnect is not a party to any rental agreement between customer and hauler, does not process payments between customer and hauler, and does not guarantee the availability, quality, price, timeliness, or outcome of any service rendered.
Hauler partners who list on ContainerConnect agree, in addition to these Terms, to the pricing model published on the For Haulers page. Listing is free for all approved haulers: there is no monthly fee, no setup fee, and no per-lead charge. ContainerConnect earns a 10% commission on completed and paid bookings only (5% for founding partners, defined as the first 10 haulers approved during our launch cohort, with that rate locked in for 24 months from the partner's sign-up date; after the 24-month founding term, the partner rolls to the then-current standard rate). Cancelled, refunded, no-show, and unconverted leads are not subject to any fee. Customers pay haulers directly; ContainerConnect does not process payment for any rental. Commission is invoiced after the hauler self-reports completion of the job in the partner dashboard. Haulers remain responsible for all licensing, insurance, taxes, employment, environmental, and safety obligations applicable to their business. Standard rates are reviewed annually and any change applies to all non-founding partners. Pricing changes will be communicated to listed haulers in writing at least 60 days before taking effect, and any partner may cancel without penalty within that notice window. Additional partner-specific terms may be presented during the application process.
You agree not to: (a) misrepresent your identity or the nature of your project; (b) submit fraudulent, duplicate, or automated quote requests; (c) scrape, copy, or reproduce platform content without permission; (d) interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems; (e) use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or unlawful content; or (f) use the Service for any purpose that violates local, state, federal, or international law. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of access.
All content on the Service (including the ContainerConnect name, logo, graphics, site design, copy, and source code) is owned by ContainerConnect or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without prior written permission. Limited personal, non-commercial use of the platform is permitted as necessary to request a quote or interact with hauler partners.
If you submit content to ContainerConnect (photos, project descriptions, reviews, or other materials), you retain ownership but grant ContainerConnect a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Service. You represent that you have the right to share the content you submit and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
The Service integrates with third-party providers including, but not limited to, Formspree (form submissions), Vercel (hosting), and may in the future include Supabase (authentication and data storage), Stripe (payments), or analytics providers. Your use of the Service involves transmission of data to and from these providers, each of which operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. CONTAINERCONNECT DOES NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE, NOR THE CONDUCT, QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGAL COMPLIANCE OF ANY HAULER LISTED ON THE PLATFORM.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONTAINERCONNECT, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. CONTAINERCONNECT'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ContainerConnect and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your interactions with any hauler or customer encountered through the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
